Sexyy Red has been compared to few other rappers along the course of her career, but she’s now compared herself to a Louisiana mainstay.
On Sunday (November 5), the rapper (real name Janae Nierah Wherry) took to Twitter to comment about who, exactly, she thinks she is in the grand scheme of the Hip Hop pantheon.
“Modern day Boosie,” she wrote, referring to “Wipe Me Down” rapper Boosie Badazz.

As of late, Sexyy Red has been making headlines for her various beefs with artists — but most notably with Khia, which started when the “My Neck, My Back” rapper implored fans not to compare her to newer artists, who she believes are shamelessly pushing a “hoe” lifestyle.
“I’m ’bout tired of y’all comparing me to these hoes. I said my neck, my back, my pussy, and my crack,” she said on an episode of Gag Order. “Not these n-ggas out here, these hoes out here… I still stood 10 toes down like a muthafuckin’ queen. Hair still wrapped like the first day.
“I ain’t changed a bit, okay. It’s respect me. It’s snatch the muthafuckin’ cat back. It’s don’t trust no muthafuckin’ n-gga. Get your own shit. It’s tell that n-gga to hit the muthafuckin’ door.”
She added: “You wanna fuck these bitches, you wanna fuck these hoes. It ain’t eat no n-gga’s ass and suck no n-gga’s toes. Y’all hoes couldn’t have grown up listening to me because that ain’t how the fuck I roll.”
When the “Pound Town” rapper fired back at the “Thug Misses” rapper, Khia unleashed another verbal attack, comparing Sexyy Red to Young Thug.
“We the people versus fugly, non-sexy, fucked up-ass Red,” she began. “Your ass is being charged with not being ashamed of your got-damn self. Doing hoe shit and being mad about it. Being a deadbeat baby mama, a deadbeat daddy, a deadbeat daughter and a deadbeat, Young Thugga-looking-ass bitch. Skin looking like a wrinkled bed sheet. Attempting to come for a real queen. Being ugly than a muthafucka. Looking like an old crumbled up stale backwood that ain’t nobody buying — take that shit back to the store whore. But ain’t no refund.”
She continued: “Not being able to handle the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth so help you God – but ain’t nobody helping you but the Devil. Acting like you that bitch but you ain’t shit and it shows, bitch. Fucking on n-ggas that don’t want you, not knowing who your baby daddy is. Sucking on balls and toes at the same damn time, getting pissed and shitted on trying to come for a real queen.
“Not knowing who the fuck your baby daddy is, refusing to go get tested. Letting fuck n-ggas film fucking your dry-ass pussy on Live, you dirty, black-footed ass bitch!”
As for Boosie, he’s been making headlines for his Hip Hop commentary, with the most notable being his sit-downs with VladTV.
Last week, Vlad asked the Baton Rouge rapper if he was surprised that Keefe D had been arrested for 2Pac’s murder, given that the accused killer had at one point been given qualified immunity for admitting his involvement. But, as Vlad explained to Boosie, that immunity only applied to the statements Keefe made at the moment immunity was granted. If he made similar statements at a different time, those could be used against him.
Boosie was previously unaware of that detail, which explains his initial reaction when he heard about the arrest.
“[I was] kind of [surprised], because [Keefe D] been talking about it,” Boosie told Vlad. “And I thought, when he got busted or whatever, that he had immunity. So when he got arrested, I was like, immunity must be fuckin’ gone… I thought he’d never get arrested for it.”
“I thought if you get immunity, it’s done,” he continued.
