Publisher GameMill Entertainment has revealed yet another character joining the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 roster. This time, fans of the classic Nickelodeon show “Hey Arnold” will be thrilled to see Grandma Gertie stepping into the ring, bringing her unique fighting style to the fray with a powerful airborne knee slam, a devastating rising uppercut, and more.

The excitement surrounding Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 has been steadily building over the past few months as new and returning Nickelodeon characters are introduced. Last week, a sneak peek at the updated moveset of returning brawler, Nigel Thornberry, was offered. Today, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 took fans by surprise as Grandma Gertie, the beloved character from Hey Arnold, was revealed to be one of the playable characters in this second installment in the crossover fighting game series developed by Ludosity and Fair Play Labs.

Grandma Gertie is known for her eccentric personality, often appearing slightly unhinged with a tendency to call people other names or labels, and mixing up holidays. Despite her age, she is very upbeat and faces any situation with the same enthusiasm as any other.

In the recently released trailer from GameMill Entertainment, players were provided with a brief look at Grandma Gertie’s moves in action. Although the trailer didn’t go into great detail about her abilities, it is clear that her moves reflect her personality. One of the notable moves she can perform is a forward aerial Knee Smash, reminiscent of Captain Falcon’s iconic move in Super Smash Bros. She also has some other interesting special moves, allowing her to throw a powerful punch and perform melee attacks using various weapons such as a pan, axe, broom, and more. One particularly thrilling special move allows her to summon a train to crash into the opponent.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is launching on November 14th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
