The Great Indian Family is an upcoming Hindi-language family comedy film written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. It stars an ensemble cast of Vicky Kaushal, Manushi Chhillar, Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, Sadiya Siddiqui, Alka Amin, Srishti Dixit, Bhuvan Arora, Ashutosh Ujjwal and Bharti Perwani. The film is scheduled to be released theatrically on September 22, 2023.
The Great Indian Family Trailer To Be Out Tomorrow, 12th Sept
Director Vijay Krishna Acharya reveals exclusively to another publication that the trailer will be out tomorrow, ten days before the film’s release. He said, “ The Great Indian Family is a family entertainer that is aimed at evoking a community-watching experience like no other. We are set the release the trailer of the film tomorrow! TGIF is a film about the special, unbreakable bond that family members have for each other in India. I’m excited to see the reaction of the people to our trailer. I hope they love it and engage with the film and have a conversation about the message of our movie.”
The trailer will be available on YRF’s official YouTube channel and other digital platforms. The trailer is expected to give a glimpse of the hilarious situations and dialogues that the film has to offer. The film promises to be a fun-filled ride that will make the audience laugh out loud with its quirky characters and witty humour.
Vicky Kaushal’s Role As Bhajan Kumar
Vicky Kaushal plays the role of a local singing star by the name of Bhajan Kumar in The Great Indian Family. As a part of a unique promotional campaign, Yash Raj Films introduced Vicky Kaushal as the next big singing superstar, “Bhajan Kumar”, in a grand event in Mumbai. They also launched the first song of the film called “Kanhaiya Twitter Pe Aaja” which marks Vicky’s big entry in the film. The song is composed by Pritam and sung by Nakash Aziz. It is a catchy and humorous track that pokes fun at the social media obsession of today’s generation.
