Akshay Kumar and Fardeen Khan, who were last seen together in the 2007 comedy film Heyy Babyy, are all set to reunite for another comic entertainer titled Khel Khel Mein. The film will be helmed by Mudassar Aziz, who has previously directed films like Happy Bhag Jayegi and Pati, Patni Aur Woh.

According to a source close to the development, Khel Khel Mein is an ensemble-cast project that revolves around a group of friends who decide to play a game at a dinner party that reveals their secrets and leads to hilarious situations. Fardeen will play one of Akshay’s friends in the film and is excited to explore comedy on screen again after a long hiatus. The film will also mark a reunion for Mudassar and Fardeen, who had worked together in the 2010 film Dulha Mil Gaya.

“It’s an ensemble-cast project centered around long-time friends who gather for dinner and decide to play a game that unveils their secrets, resulting in hilarious chaos. Fardeen portrays one of Akshay’s friends in this film and is thrilled to explore comedy on screen again after a 13-year hiatus. This collaboration also marks an exciting reunion for Mudassar Aziz, who teams up with Fardeen again after their first collaboration, Dulha Mil Gaya,” a source close to the development told Pinkvilla.

 

Taapsee Pannu And Vaani Kapoor To Join The Cast As Leading Ladies?

If reports are to be believed, the film will also feature Taapsee Pannu and Vaani Kapoor as the female leads opposite Akshay and Fardeen respectively. Taapsee, who has worked with Akshay in films like Baby and Mission Mangal, will once again share screen space with him in this comedy caper. Vaani, who was last seen in Bell Bottom with Akshay, will also join the cast as Fardeen’s love interest. However this casting is not confirmed yet

Khel Khel Mein To Go On Floors By Mid October

The film will be produced by Bhushan Kumar and Ashwin Varde and is expected to go on floors in mid-October in London and the movie’s pre-production work has commenced in full swing. Akshay will start shooting for the film after the release of his upcoming thriller drama Mission Raniganj, which is slated to hit the theatres on October 6.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar, who is known for his versatility and prolificacy, has a number of projects lined up for release in the next few years. Apart from Khel Khel Mein, he will also be seen in Housefull 5, Jolly LLB 3, Welcome 3, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Dharma Production’s biopic and Sky Force with Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Entertainment. He is also gearing up for the release of Mission Raniganj.

 

Fardeen Khan Returns To Bollywood With Sanjay Gupta’s Visfot After 11 Years

Fardeen Khan, who has been away from the limelight for more than a decade, is making his much-awaited comeback with Visfot, a drama thriller produced by Sanjay Gupta. The film is the official Hindi remake of the 2012 Venezuelan film Rock, Paper, Scissors, which was nominated for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 85th Academy Awards.

Fardeen will be seen playing the role of a taxi driver and an ex-drug dealer, while Riteish Deshmukh will play his friend, a commercial airline pilot. Visfot will mark Fardeen’s reunion with Riteish Deshmukh after 14 years. They had previously worked together in Heyy Babyy in 2007. The film is set in London and revolves around a game of chance that exposes the secrets and lies of the characters. The film will also feature Priya Bapat as the female lead.

Last year, Fardeen Khan surprised everyone with his physical transformation as he shed a lot of weight and looked fit and fab. He also confirmed his comeback to films and said that he was looking for good scripts. He also thanked his fans for their support and posted a dapper photo of himself on Instagram.
